The National Capital of India Delhi goes under Weekend Curfew from 10:00 PM On Friday till 5:00 AM on Monday due to rising cases of COVID-19 in Country. So that the Government of Delhi has announced Curfew including Weekend Curfew. The Delhi Government has closed all non-essential services like closure of malls, gymnasiums and auditoriums till April 30. There are only essential services are allowed during Delhi Weekend Curfew. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on behalf Delhi Government has started e-pass facility for all essential services. The people have to collect Delhi E-Pass.
New Update:- The Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr Arvind Kejriwal has extended the ongoing Lockdown till 17th May 2021. The Lockdown in Delhi has extended to break the chain of Covid Infections. Fourth Time, Delhi Lockdown has extended to break the infected chain. First Lockdown imposed on April 19. Earlier, the CM has extended the Lockdown till May 10. Now the Lockdown again extended till 17th May 2021. During this Lockdown, only essential services will open. For essential service, the people need Delhi E-Pass. The national capital will remain under “strict lockdown” till June 7. As per official order, the Weekend Curfew will be effective from 10:00 PM on Friday to 5:00 PM on Monday. However, the people of certain professions are exempted from the Curfew. Those who are providing essential services like groceries, fruits, vegetables, milk and medicine can apply for Delhi Lockdown E-Pass. Medical Staff can travel during night curfew by showing a valid Government Identity Proof.
ePass Required For
- People working in IT and Internet services, broadcasting and cable services.
- People going to ATM.
- Private security personnel.
- Banks Employees
Movement Pass (E-Pass) Not required for Exam
Those candidates who are going to appear for Examinations this weekend need not require Curfew E-Pass. The DDMA said that “a students are allowed to movement during Curfew to appear in the examination with having valid Admit Card.” Also Read here UP Lockdown ePass.
No E-Pass required for Doctors and Paramedical Staff
The Doctors, Paramedical Staff and Journalist are allowed for Movement during Weekend Curfew without E-Pass on the basis of Valid Identity Proof.
If anyone traveling from Airports, Railway Stations and Bus will be allowed to travel having with a valid Tickets.
A pregnant women and patients who are going for treatment are also allowed during Night Curfew.

How to Apply Online for Delhi Lockdown E-Pass

Note:- अगर आपके पास पहले से “नाईट कर्फ्यू” पास है तो आपको वीकेंड कर्फ्यू पास लेने की जरूरत नहीं है। नाईट कर्फ्यू पास वीकेंड कर्फ्यू पास के लिए भी मान्य होगा।
- First Visit to https://epass.jantasamvad.org/epass/init/.
- Now Select Language Hindi or English.
- E-Pass is issuing for who are providing essential services but have not Government ID Proof.
- Fill Name, Address, Contact and other required details.
- Upload ID Proof and click on submit button.
- Now you can collect Delhi Weekend Curfew E-Pass.
If you are traveling from during night (10:00 PM to 5:00 AM) or during weekend Curfew (17th and 18th April), you are required to carry E-Pass. If your work related to Day time, you don’t require E-Pass and should not submit for E-Pass.
The National Zoological Park will be closed during Weekend (On Saturday and Sunday).
As per latest guidelines, the malls, gymnasiums and auditoriums will be closed till 30th April 2021.
Delhi Metro Trains will also run with reduced frequency.
Those people who have applied for Delhi Curfew E-Pass can download through delhipolice.nic.in. You can use username and password to download E-Pass.
“If you have already Night Curfew E-Pass, you don’t have to apply again. The Pass will automatically be considered for Weekend Curfew”.

How to Check e-Pass Status
- You have to visit on https://epass.jantasamvad.org/epass/init/.
- Select Language English or Hindi.
- Click on Check Status Button if you have already applied for an E-Pass.
- Enter E-Pass ID to check Status.
- Click on Check Status Button now.
- Now you can check Delhi Lockdown ePass and can download it.
