CISF Constable Exam Pattern 2024
Height Bar Test: The Candidates Those found eligible will appear first for HBT as per the given pattern. It is only qualifying in nature.

Important tips and tricks to get through the exam:
As we know that the process for Central Industrial Security Force Constable/Tradesman posts is done in five steps, hence for every step we need to ourselves prepare differently. Now CISF Constable Syllabus 2024 and Exam Pattern for HBT, Physical and Written Test is also published. Candidates have to follow the below steps to get preparation easily and maximize their score.
Step 1: This is an HBT (Height Bar Test) which candidates need to pass to go further. This step is qualifying in nature. Candidates do not get any marks for these. There is not much we can do to prepare for this step so let us move to the second step.
Step 2: This is a PET (physical efficiency test). This test is also qualifying in nature. In this test, the candidate needs to run 1.6 km. They need to complete this race in 6 minutes 30 seconds. If candidates fail to do so they will be disqualified.
For this race, candidates can practice running in 5 minutes. Because the lesser the goal is the more you will try to achieve it. If you try to do it in 5 minutes it might not go up more than 6 minutes. Practice every day. Do not think you do not need practice.
Step 3: This is a physical standard test. In this test candidates’ chest and height measurements will be taken and checked if they match the criteria. If any candidate is not qualified in this test but he thinks he can qualify next time, he can apply for an appeal. After an appeal, he will get a fresh date for measurement or his measurements will be taken again (depends upon the appeal).
For this candidates can change their diet into something more healthy or which gets them required chest. Maintaining the measurements is very necessary. So take care of your diet and exercise.
Step 4: This is a documentation test. In this test candidate’s documents will be checked for validation.
For this step, candidates should keep their original documents very carefully in order. They should be able to release the required documents whenever asked for.
Step 5: Step 5 is a trade test and written test. All the candidates who have qualified all the tests will be asked for this step. Trade test will depend upon the post they have applied for. After the trade test, there will be a written test.
Candidates should prepare well for the written test because this is the last and important test which brings in the competition. The written test will be conducted for 100 marks for 100 questions.
