KCET counselling is step wise procedure candidates who fail to attend or complete the counselling process will not be provided admission. KCET counselling consists of various stages, which are given as follows:

  • Document Verification & Registration
  • Choice Filling & Locking
  • Allotment of Seats
  • Reporting at the Allotted Institute

KCET 2023 Document Verification & Registration

All the eligible candidates have to appear at the specified counselling centers for the document verification procedures. After the successful verification of all the required documents, the candidates will be provided with a unique ID and password. The following documents are required for the successful document verification process:

  • Hardcopy of the KCET Application Form
  • Hardcopy of the KCET admit card
  • Proof of the Application fee payment
  • Marksheets of 10th & 12th standard
  • 2 Passport size photographs
  • Study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI
  • Category certificate (if any)
  • Other documents (as per need)

KCET 2023 Choice Filling & Locking

After the successful verification of the documents, the candidates will have to login using the credentials given to complete the choice filling process. The candidates have to select the choices in the order of their preferences. No one will be able to change their preferences after locking their choices.

KCET Seat Allotment 2023

There are two rounds of seat allotment procedure, the first one is the mock allotment round, where candidates can see their allotment according to their merit, preference, and availability of the seats. In the mock round students are allowed to change their preferences. The second is the extended and the special round. The candidates can check their seat allotment status through online mode by using their given login. Credentials and download their provisional allotment letter.

KCET Reporting at the Allotted Institutes

After the successful seat allotment procedure, the candidates have to appear at the allotted institutes for the completion of the admission procedure. The candidates have to carry their allotment letter along with the other required documents while reporting at the allotted institutes. Then they have to pay the required fees to confirm their admission.
