Gujarat TET Exam 2024 Application Form
The board of secondary education of Gujarat is going to declare the application form of the Gujarat teacher eligibility test in June/July 2024, and for filling up the form there is no offline mode. Candidates have to apply online for the form before the due date and according to the report, the last date to fill the application form is in the month of August 2024.
Gujarat TET 2024 Eligibility
The TET entrance exam for the recruitment of suitable candidates for the posts has different eligibility criteria and the details regarding the test are given below.
For primary teachers level ( 1 to 5 )
- Candidates must have done senior secondary or its equivalent with at least 45 percent marks.
- 4-year bachelor of elementary education, appearing candidate or a 2-year diploma in education or special education candidate or a 2-year diploma in elementary education candidate were also eligible for primary teacher level 1 posts.
- Applicants of B.A, B.SC, and B.ED with 50 percent can also apply for the Gujarat TET 2024.
For upper primary teacher level ( VI to VIII )
- Aspirants must have a graduation degree in arts or science, or final year candidates of D.ED, B.SC, and BA with 45 percent can seat for the test.
- The higher secondary qualified candidates with 45 percent marks or any graduate applicants with a B.ED degree are fit to apply.

Gujarat TET 2024 Application Fee
The Gujarat TET 2024 application fee for OBC / General candidates is INR 350, and the fee for SC / ST applicants is INR 250. Candidates can pay online through debit, credit card, and net banking and the multiple forms of a single candidate will be rejected by the officials.
The Gujarat TET involves two papers, paper 1 is of primary teacher and paper 2 is for upper primary teacher level. The paper will be conducted in two shifts, the morning and the evening shift. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes and the number of questions would be 150 which carries one mark each. Candidates are advised to visit the official website for more details.
